CooMeet: if you want to talk only with girls
The only one on this list I've tested with my own account and scored: 9.5. Sign-up with your name, excellent video, real girls and a translator that translates messages in real time. After the trial, it's paid. Everything is in the review.
OmeTV: free, with anyone

Chatroulette: the veteran, still standing
Launched in 2009, a few months after Omegle, it's the other big name in the genre. Still running, free, with automatic video moderation. 2026 reviews describe it as smaller and slower than it used to be. More in Chatroulette.
Uhmegle: free, no account
Open it, add some interests if you like, and go. Handy, but total anonymity also brings the less pleasant encounters. Per reviews, moderation is weak.
